Our story begins with a German Shepherd named Fhina.
Chris Taylor, founder of Taylor-Made K9 Nutrition, wasn’t always in the dog food business.
But he was always obsessed with doing right by his best friend.
When Fhina began struggling with common health issues tied to processed kibble — digestive problems, joint and spine disease, low energy, dull coat — Chris started asking harder questions:
Why are we feeding our dogs things we wouldn’t eat ourselves?

That’s when everything changed.
Chris began preparing fresh, whole-food meals for Fhina, experimenting with real meat, vegetables, and tailored nutrition.
